“Disney’s a Christmas Carol” tells Charles Dickens’ classic story of Scrooge’s journey through the Christmas holiday. He is a stingy, old, and selfish man who needs to learn the the true meaning of Christmas, and therefore is visited by three ghosts; Christmas past, present, and future. Each ghost goes through a series of events in efforts to open the callous man’s eyes. The difference, however, is that Scrooge goes through his transformation he goes through in a fun Disney way. Jim Carrey is the voice of Scrooge and all of the ghosts.
Overall, the movie gets 3.5 out of 5 stars because it is a fun Disney movie that teaches the valuable life lesson of appreciating what you have, and living life to the fullest with a good attitude.
The movie will be shown tonight on Freeform from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. It will also be shown several more times throughout the month of December, and the schedule can be seen on the International Business Times website.
