South’s Baseball Team won all of their games last week and are currently ranked 7th in the state and 2nd in league with a record of (18-4).
Here are the scores of their games last week:

Tues 5/1– South beat North 14-1 in the first game of a two-game series. Danny Alvarado ‘21 hit a home-run his 6th of the season.
Wed 5/2– South beat North again 13-5. Aaron Zavala ’18 pitched 5 innings for the Saxons, striking out 6. Ryan Brown ’19 hit a home-run, his 4th of the season, and gained 5 total bases that game.
Fri 5/4– South beat McNary 13-4 at home where Ryan Brown hit another home-run, making it his 5th of the season. They lead all game, where McNary scored their only three runs in the fourth.
Sat 5/5– South traveled to Summit where they earned their last victory of the week with a score of 17-3. South had no home-runs that game, but were able to put some younger, inexperienced players out on the field.

The Saxons have another big week coming up, as they are scheduled to play 3 games.
Today 5/7- South faces off against Mcnary for the second game of their series at 5pm.
Wed 5/9- South will play McMinnville on Gilmore Field at 5pm.
Thurs 5/10- South travels to McMinnville for the second game of the series at 4:30pm.
