Saxons Travel to Take On Celtics

The South Salem Saxons are playing their final regular season game tonight against the McNary Celtics to determine if the Saxons will be participating in the OSAA State Football Playoffs this season.

The Saxons are currently on a four-game losing streak with their last win coming from week four where they beat the Sprague Olympians, their record is 2-6. Due to this the Saxons are ranked 41 in the OSAA rankings.

The Celtics are on a roll as of now, the Mountain Valley Conference Champions are on a three-game winning streak with their last win coming against the West Salem Titans 35-23,

Celtic running back Junior Walling ‘19 and his 237 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. The McNary Celtics now have a 3-5 record after starting off 0-5. With their recent success, the Celtics are ranked 22 in the State by OSAA.  There three wins have earned the Celtics the MVC lead going into tonights games.
