Boys Lacrosse Season Preview
The South Salem boys lacrosse team has been preparing for the start of the season for the past few weeks. Players have been going on the field after school and practicing basic skills to get ready for the season. The boy’s lacrosse team hopes to have a bounce back season, as last season the team was ranked 43 in the state. However, there is a lot of optimism amongst the players.
“I feel that we have a lot of new fresh talent in our freshman and that if we put in 110% effort than we can have an amazing season,” Colton Lee ‘18 said.
“We look a lot better this year then we did last year.” Said Lucas Hildahl ‘18 “We’ve been working really hard and i think we’ll have a good season” Said Hildahl
South will be on the road to the first four games of the season. Starting off on March 15 against La Salle Prep and on March 18 Roseburg. Then they will be facing off against Century on april first and McNary on april fifth . Next they will be home the next two games against Ridgeview and West Salem. Following those two games South will be back on the road facing off against West Albany, Corvallis, and West Salem. After those games, South will be home against West Albany before a game against Sprague. Finally South will be at home for their final four games against McNary, Mountain View, Corvallis, and Sprague.
