South Salem’s Boys Basketball team heads into playoffs this week with high hopes. The Saxons (2), coming off an 85-50 win against McNary last week capitalizing on their undefeated league record, will take on the Newberg Tigers (31) at home on Wednesday at 7 pm. Then, if they win Wednesday, they move on to play the winner of the game between North Medford (15) and Oregon City (18) Saturday.
Currently the Boys have the two seed, and an overall record of 21-3. Jesuit secured the number one seed after coming out on top of the tough Metro League Conference, and are the favorites to take home the championship.
