The NBA playoffs start on April 16, and already there is speculation of who will win the finals. Many have predicted that The Golden State Warriors will take it all and repeat their 2015 season, but they have good reasoning. The Warriors started out on 30 game winning streak and are on pace to repeat. However there is one team that could rival the Warriors are the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs remain undefeated at home, and that could be a huge factor in the playoffs.
In the eastern conference, there is only one clear front runner, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland has four more wins than the Toronto Raptors, and 10 more wins than the Atlanta Hawks. With LeBron James as the captain of the team, Cleveland has a good chance to go against the Warriors.
As the end of the regular season comes to an end, the first round of playoff games have been determined. In the western conference the Warriors will play the Houston Rockets on April 16, as well as the Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma City Thunder. Then, to end the first games of the western conference teams, the Portland Trail Blazers will play the Los Angeles Clippers, and the Memphis Grizzlies will play the San Antonio Spurs.
In the eastern conference the Indiana Pacers will play the Toronto Raptors and the Boston Celtics will play the Hawks both on April 16. Then on April 17 the Cavaliers will play The Detroit Pistons then, on the same day the Charlotte Hornets will play The Miami Heat.
