Spencer Garfield Up for Vote as Statesman Journal Athlete of the Week

Spencer Garfield ’17, one athlete on South’s water polo team, has received a nomination for the Statesman Journal Athlete of the Week. Last Wednesday she scored eight of the goals, helping to secure an 18-6 win against Sheldon, and five goals on Thursday during their game against West Salem. South won once again, 14-6.
As of Nov. 1 at 9:00 a.m., Garfield is in last place with 41 votes, while A.J. Johnk, a football player from McNary, is in first with 102 votes.
Voting will end Thursday at noon. Go to Statesman Journal to vote for Athlete of the Week before the poll expires. Each person can vote once per e-mail address.
