The South Saxons varsity volleyball season came to a close on Saturday Oct. 29. They lost in the second round of playoffs in a close match to South Eugene, but the saxons went farther than they have in the past few years.
“We became a family and learned how to work together super well,” Rylie Tiffin ‘17 said.
In the regular season, their league record was 15-3 [15 wins, 3 losses].
“Some key moments for us were shutting out a two win double header at Sprague against them and McMinnville,” Tiffin said. “Our first playoff game against Grants Pass, even though there was a fire drill in the middle of the match.”
