Barcelona Signs Ezekiel Bassey

 
On the transfer deadline day, Barcelona had confirmed that they will sign Enyimba winger Ezekiel Bassey. He will be on a loan spell with Barcelona B [their second team] until the end of the season, with the opportunity of a two-year contract.
      The 20-year-old Nigerian played with Enyimba Aba, a professional soccer team in his home country. The first team of Barcelona, “The Catalan”, reported that they will sign the player for an official transfer to Barcelona if Bassey impresses Gerard Lopez’s team. Barcelona B currently plays in the third division in Spain, but they are currently at the top of the league table.
      Barcelona A has been known to always have a great team, with their style of play and philosophy that differs from other great clubs in Europe. It is a privilege to play for Barcelona, even if it is the second team, like the one Bassey is playing in. Bassey is not really well known yet because he just got to Barcelona, but now that he is, he will be seen all over the world from television and league games.
     Bassey is a really young player with a lot of potential and playing for one of the greatest clubs in the world is a great opportunity; he will just have to prove that he is worthy to sign a permanent contract by the end of the season.
