Basketball Quarterfinals

On Thursday, March 9th, the second seed Saxons will face the tenth seed Sunset Apollos. Tip off will be at 8:15 p.m. in the Chiles center.
Both teams have momentum coming into this game. The Saxons have had fairly familiar playoff opponents thus far, featuring an in-conference rival. Meanwhile, the Apollos just came off of an upset, defeating the Tigard Tigers 56-49.
This marks the fifth year in a row that the lady Saxons have made it into the state tournament;  they will be looking to win the tournament, granting South a “Threepeat” [three consecutive wins].
