The deadline to apply for tickets to be a part of “Antiques Roadshow” in Portland is today at 11:59 p.m. “Antiques Roadshow” is one of PBS’s most viewed series, and first premiered in 1979.
In January, PBS announced that the show will be coming to the Oregon Convention Center in Portland on Saturday, August 12 for the first time since 2004. From the all day event, three episodes will be filmed and are set to air sometime in 2018 as a part of Season 22.
Portland is set to be the last of the five cities the show will be visiting this summer, starting off with Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in June and continuing to Green Bay, Wisconsin; Louis, Missouri and New Orleans, Louisiana.
Admission for the show is free, however, tickets are needed in advance. A random drawing pulled from the applications will decide who will win a pair of tickets. Only 5,000 tickets can be distributed. Winners are required to bring at least one item, with a maximum of two, to get appraised.
Applications and more information are available on the PBS website.
