The group stages for the Union of European Football Associations [UEFA] Champions league teams are done and they are now off to the play-offs. There are 8 teams left competing for the title for the UEFA [Union of European Football Associations] Champions League. This is the most famous and challenging cup for football, or soccer, around the world to win and has been known to be even more competitive than the World cup. The difference between The World Cup and The UEFA Champions League is that the World cup only includes the top countries in the world and the Champions League only includes the top European teams, which European teams has been known to be more competitive and more advanced than any other region in the world. The teams left that are currently in the Quarter-finals are Futbol Club [F.C.] Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, F.C. Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Leicester City, Real Madrid C.F., AS Monaco F.C., and Juventus F.C. They all played their first game against each other which in the Champions League, their rules are different which they have to play two games against each other. In this tournament, the points scored for those who score a goal at an away game are worth more than those goals scored at home games.The first game fixtures so far in the quarter-finals were, Juventus 3-0 Barcelona, Real Madrid 2-1 Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid 1-0 Leicester City, and Monaco 3-2 Borussia Dortmund.
Today the games are Monaco v.s Borussia Dortmund, and Barcelona v.s. Juventus. All teams still have one more game to go in order to advance from the quarter-finals, and any team could win it.
