The Saxon Softball team is off to a great start with a record of 7-6 overall, [2-4 in the Greater Valley Conference] making them sixth place in the GVC so far in the season. The Saxon’s recent game was a win against Sprague by a score of 6-0. With the multiple rain outs it has been hard to improve everyday and practice on a field.
“At this point we haven’t really played any games so far I think we are a good team we just need to clean up on defense,” Amber Enomoto-Haole ‘17 said. “The rain sucks but we practice anyways and we get over the rain.”
The team’s next game is at McKay at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 28. This will be there second game against McKay this season with the prior game being a win for the Saxons by a score of 11-1.
