Track Districts

Track season is over with good performances from all of the athletes. The Greater Valley Conference Junior Varsity Bash ended on Friday, May 5 at McNary high school. Day one of the Greater Valley Conference Championships  happened on Wednesday, May 10 at West Albany High School and day two of the GVC Championships  happened on Friday, May 12 also at West Albany High School.
Varsity 100m dash runner and Long Jumper, James Christof ‘18 that competed on this event said,“No matter what obstacles come your way, push through it and finish the work. You earn what you put in.” Christof has a Personal Record, [PR] of 11.97 on the 100 meter and on the long jump has a 19’ foot and 11.50 inches.
Varsity 1500 meter and 3000 meter long distance runner, Israel Perez ‘19 also competed on this event saying, “A PR in the 3000m was nice but a place on the podium would’ve been better.” Perez has a PR of 4:30:58 on the 1500 meter and also has a PR of 9:47:49 on the 3000 meter. All of the track athletes had great season and will be getting ready for next year.
