Gather Your Pennies: LINK Penny Wars Begin Monday

LINK Penny Wars are set to begin on Monday, September 25th to help raise money for Mrs. Miller in her fight against cancer. Third period classes will compete against each other until the end of the six week grading period, Oct. 11. The winning class will receive a class wide treat, which is yet to be decided.
The way the point system for the Penny Wars is set up is that for every penny donated to your third period, the class will earn one point. The only way to earn points is by contributing pennies, not other change. All other change subtracts the number of points they are worth in pennies (i.e nickels would be -5 points, dimes -10,  and so on with a dollar being worth -100 points). Sabotages are allowed by putting negative change into other classes penny drop off containers.
Points will be tallied on Sept. 29 and Oct. 6th
