Volleyball Update

The Saxon volleyball team stays undefeated as they beat the Olympians and are now the only GVC team that is undefeated in league play. They beat the Olympians in 5 sets which has been their closest game yet having only lost 1 set in 6 games.
South’s next few games are against the Forest Grove Vikings and the North Salem Vikings. After those 2 league games they are heading out to play in the Nike Tournament of Champions in Chandler, AZ.
“The Nike Tournament of Champions is a very selective tournament. Only the best teams in the nation are accepted to play in it.” Kassidy Johnson ‘18 said.
Their next games are away at Forest Grove at 6:30 p.m. this Thursday and at North Salem at 6:30 p.m. next Wednesday before they leave for Arizona the next day.
