Apple introduced the new iPhone 8, iPhone X, and a 3rd Generation Apple Watch on September 12th 2017. They came out for pre-order on Friday September 15th. The new Apple products will be available in stores on September 22nd. Some people were excited about the new iPhones and Apple watch applications. The iPhone X Apple introduced Face ID instead of the Touch ID. Touch ID was introduced with the release of the iPhone 5S which was released on September 20th 2013.
The differences between the iPhone X and the iPhone 8 is the iPhone X introduces Face ID, a bigger screen (5.8” instead of 4.7”), HDR display, and a higher pixel display. The only differences between the new iPhone 8 and the iPhone 7 is the iPhone 8’s option to charge wirelessly and a larger storage capacity. Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone X have wireless charging.
The Apple Watch generation 3 introduced the option to add Cellular to the Watch which provides users to not have to carry their phone within 100 meters of the Apple Watch. When thinking about buying the new Apple Watch pay close attention to what version is being purchased because the GPS version requires an iPhone 5S or newer while the GPS plus Cellular version requires the iPhone 6 or newer, though both versions of Apple’s newest watch require ios 11.
