The NBA season is finally upon us as tomorrow night is Tip-Off. The games at the Boston Celtics taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena at 5 p.m. PST and the defending champion Golden State Warriors take on the Houston Rockets at the Oracle Arena at 7:30 p.m. PST. All of these teams are expected to be some of the best teams in the league.
The new look Boston Celtics with All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving and small forward Gordon Hayward face the Cleveland Cavaliers with arguably the best player in the league in small forward Lebron James while also adding some good veterans. This game is going to be the homecoming of both All-Stars Kyrie Irving and point guard Isaiah Thomas for the Celtics and Cavs respectively after the blockbuster trade that happened over this offseason after Kyrie Irving requested a trade from the Cavs over the summer.
The other game that is on is the Golden State Warriors taking on the Houston Rockets after both teams seemed to improve over the offseason. Houston also had a blockbuster trade as they traded away their star point guard Chris Paul in a sign and trade deal. The Warriors kept their core of All-Stars together as well as signing veteran players such as small forward Nick Young and small forward Omri Casspi.
