The volleyball team beat the Forest Grove Vikings in three straight sets or 3-0 as their record changes to 17-7 overall, (13-2 in the GVC) as they move up the rankings before playoffs start.
South won all three of the sets by the scores of 25-20 in the first set, 25-12 in the second, and 25-14 for the final set of the game.
Last nights game was senior night as the 10 seniors on the team as they all played their last home league game on South Salem’s gym floor.
South’s next game is against the McNary Celtics at McNary High School at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18.
