The Boys Soccer team travels to Jesuit to take on the number 1 ranked Crusaders after beating the number 17 ranked Madison Senators 2-1 after beating them 5-4 in penalty kicks. The Saxons tied the game with under two minutes left to play in regulation and remained tied through both overtime periods. The Saxons blocked one of the Senators penalty kicks while the Senators missed all 5 kicks for the Saxons to advance to the second round of the OSAA State Playoffs.
The Saxons will now play the Jesuit Crusaders which beat last seeded McNary Celtics 2-0. The game starts tonight at 6 p.m. at Jesuit High School in a season ending game for one of the teams.
