On Sat. Jan. 6, TEDxSalem will have their fifth annual event in which local speakers give a presentation on their experiences and research, or share a new idea.
This year’s theme is “Through the Looking Glass” and the event is located at the Salem Convention Center. Speakers include Anna Nixon, Brad Burge, Cayla Skillin-Brauchle, Evelin Dacker, Jackson Rayne, Kaydee Kreitlow, Laura Mack, Marie Greene, Mas Subramanian, Noah Strycker, Rose Barker, and Seth Tichenor.
The event will also include snacks, a full lunch, a swag bag, and additional performances by community members. TEDxSalem V will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Advanced tickets are $55 for adults and $45 for students, and tickets at the door will be $60 for adults and $50 for students.
