Saxons Boys and Girls Basketball defeats the McKay Royal Scots

The girls and boys basketball teams had successful nights last night both beating McKay in the last regular season game of the year. The Saxons senior night was also last night celebrating the last time the seniors will play a regular season game at home.
The girls won their game by a score of 62-45 to increase their record to 12-12 with a rank of 25 in the State and added another loss the McKay’s disappointing season finishing up with a record of 0-24. The Saxons will find out who they are playing in the first round by next week where they will be playing most likely away.
The boys won a close game by a score of 65-64 after a late rally by McKay in the second half. The Saxons improve their record to 14-9 to finish up the season with a ranking of 13 and decreases the McKay record to 10-14 with a 33 ranking. The boys will most likely play the first round at home and will be announced by next week.
