The South boys basketball team lost against Barlow on Wed. Feb. 28 with a final score of 80-61. The Saxons struggled all game long and just could not keep up with Bruins, which had a 17-8 record [17 wins and 8 losses] from the Mt. Hood Conference.
Although the season did not end as they wanted it to, the Saxons had a 14-10 record overall, finishing fourth in the conference and 13 in state. Also with a more experienced team, returning players such as Jaden Nielsen-Skinner ‘19, Trey Galbraith ‘20, Ryan Brown ‘19, and Ryan Rickman ‘20, the Saxons are hoping for a better season next year.
