The Saxon Basketball Teams will take on the Sprague Olympians tonight at home to continue on their recent success to start off league play in the Mountain Valley Conference.
The boys team has had a solid start so far this season, beginning league play with a record of 8-3 and ranked 2 in state, and will take on the 13 ranked Olympians, who have a current 7-4 record but started league play with a tough loss to the Bend Lava Bears by a score of 51-53 at Bend High School. The game will start at 5:45 p.m.
The girls team has had a similar start to the boys with a solid 7-4 record and 17 rank in the state along with an impressive first league win of the season beating the Mountain View Cougars by a score of 65-27 with lots of different point contributors where as the Olympians have started off their season with a 0-11 record and a 53 rank in state. The game’s tip off starts at 7 p.m. after the boys game has concluded.
