The Saxons have multiple league matchups this week playing teams from across the league. With a total of eight total games/meets this week, there are plenty of Saxon sports to watch.
The boys and girls basketball teams play two games each this week, both are playing the Summit Storm on Tuesday and the West Salem Titans on Friday. The boys are currently sitting at a rank of 2 with a 9-3 overall record and a 2-0 league record so far. The girls are currently ranked 18 with an 8-4 overall record with a 2-0 league record. The Saxons are hoping to build off their early success.
The swim teams are also starting the season successfully with early wins in the league so far. Both boys and girls swimming teams have a perfect 5-0 record so far and each has one meet this week where they will both be swimming against the McNary Celtics. The meet is on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 4:30pm at the Kroc Center.
The wrestling team is doing solid as of late with a first-place finish. The team has two tournaments on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at South and also Friday, Jan. 18 at Lebanon.
