Finals begin next week on Tuesday Jan. 21 and will continue through Thursday Jan. 23. Come next week prepared to finish the semester off strong.
Monday of next week is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and students will have the school day off.
Tuesday morning, school will begin at regular time and classes will remain an hour and a half long. After period one, students are given a ten minute break before they are expected to be in their next class. When the second final is over all students will be released for a 35 minute lunch. The last class of the day will begin after lunch and end at 12:50 p.m. From there, students will be released from classes and school will be over. Buses will depart at 1 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 22 will be the same schedule as Tuesday only students will take their finals for their period five, six and seven classes.
On Thursday, Jan. 23, there is no late start so school will begin at 7:30. Students will take their finals for their period four and eight classes with a 10 minute break in between the two classes. Eighth period will end at 10:40 and students will be released. Lunch will be available in the cafeteria at this time and the buses will depart at 11.
Friday, Jan. 24, is a grading day and there will be no school. Friday marks the last day of the semester and students will start their 2nd semester schedules Monday Jan. 27.
