This past weekend four members of South Salem’s wrestling team competed at the OSAA state wrestling meet at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon. Saxon Wrestlers include Julian Ortiz ’20, Samiu Letisi ’21, Joe Wazniak ’20, and Rene Cruz ’22. Ortiz was the only South Salem wrestler to place, taking 5th in the 285 lb weight class.
