One Saturday, thousands of people participated in a rally and march at the Oregon State Capitol in honor of George Floyd. The rally began with a couple hours of speeches, songs and Aztec dancers. Following the rally, protestors marched through downtown Salem and eventually gathered on the Capitol mall. Protestors filled almost the entire length of the mall holding signs and chanting. The protest was one of the largest Salem has seen in recent history. Here are the photos we captured at the event.
