On Sunday, Portlanders took to the federal courthouse for the 53rd consecutive day of protests. The night was characterized by the wall of moms, made of approximately 200 mothers. These moms attempted to de-escalate tensions by placing themselves between protestors and federal officers. The officers responded with crowd control munitions, stun grenades and later, tear gas.
