On Monday night, protestors gathered for the 54th consecutive day of protests in Portland in front of the Justice Center and the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse. This gathering of 1000s was one of the biggest the city has seen in recent weeks. Protestors rallied and marched through the streets without confrontation with Portland Police or Federal Officers. The protestors then gathered in front of the courthouse and in the portico. At approximately 12:15 a.m., protestors began to break the plywood and then the windows in the front of the courthouse. This prompted the federal officers to come out and shoot riot control munitions, tear gas and stun grenades.
