Protestors gathered by the Justice Center and Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse for the 58th consecutive day of protests Friday. The crowd of thousands was the largest seen in weeks. The protest saw the addition of the “Wall of Veterans” to the “Wall of Moms,” which began several days ago. The protest remained without conflict until around 11:15 p.m. when federal agents responded to protestors shaking the fence and shooting fireworks. Protestors threw a wide variety of things including fireworks, fruit, glass bottles, water bottles, full cans of drinks and traffic cones at agents. Federal agents eventually responded by filling the area around the federal courthouse with gas consistently for close to an hour. For the full story click here.
