This December Battlefield 2042 will be free to play across all platforms, so players can see how much the game has changed from its launch in November of last year.
As many will remember, Battlefield 2042 had a rough launch plagued by bugs and glitches, as well as changing many gameplay aspects that long time fans had become used to. During that time, Battlefield received twice as many negative user reviews as it did positive ones on steam, perfectly showing the frustration of the player base. Recently however, the difference has been much more even, showing that while some players are still angry, Electronic Arts and DICE have made progress towards making the game better.
