The Saxons, who are seeded at number 25, are set to face eighth-seed Franklin High School in the highly anticipated first-round playoff game which will start at 6:30 p.m. on October 28. Franklin is the higher seeded team which means they will host the game.
The Saxons have a 6-1-1 league record and a 7-6-2 overall record. The Lightning are the favorites in the match with a 5-1-1 league record and a 10-3-2 overall record. In addition to this they proved to have a solid defense, conceding only 17 goals over the season.
The Saxons have a Ranking Percentage Index (RPI) rank of 25 and Franklin’s RPI rank is seven.
The victorious team will advance into the second round and face the winners of the Beaverton High School vs Lincoln High School game. The second round game is to happen on November 1, the time yet to be determined.
