On October 31, South Salem High School will be hosting the South Salem Doors Trick or Treat event from 6-7:30 p.m. for the general public and 5:30-6 p.m. for the staff’s children. Students will be decorating the halls with all sorts of themes for each door. All kids from around the neighborhood are welcome to come and trick or treat in a safe environment.
“Each year we get on average about a thousand kids, so we need about a thousand bags of candy to provide for all the kids,” Activities Director Kathy August said.
Leadership is still looking for people to host doors and bring candy for Halloween night. It is encouraged for students to sponsor a door with their clubs, friends, or family. Students can sign up for a door by visiting August’s office in the upper commons and scanning the QR Code.
