On May 15, 2024, South Salem High School’s annual Senior Banquet will be held at Mission Mill from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The Senior Banquet will be for all of South’s seniors to join together to reflect on their careers at South Salem High School. There will be superlatives awarded that the seniors previously voted on, such as “Most Likely to Succeed,” “Best Hair,” “Most Likely to be Late to Graduation” and others. The banquet is not required, but it is one of the final senior events held before graduation. Tickets for the banquet cost $20, they are sold during and after school hours.
Throughout the school year, senior-centered events were occurring to honor the four years spent together throughout high school. Events like Senior Sunrise and Sunset, Senior Skip Day or Senior Nights for sports aim to include all seniors and allow them to feel respected. Graduation occurs on June 7, 2024, for Saxons. With the year slowly ending, it is important to continue honoring the graduating seniors of 2024.
