The South Salem Saxons Girl’s Volleyball team matched up against West Salem and McNary girls this past week. The Saxons played West Salem on Monday, September 16, and McNary on Wednesday, September 18. Monday night, the Lady Saxons faced the challenge and defeated the West Salem Titans who rank 17 in the state with a score of 3-0. Two days later they turned around and beat McNary with a record of 1-6, 3-0.
After this week, those wins leave the Saxons with a record of 6-2 and ranked 11 in the state. Next week, the Saxons will face up against the Sprague Olympians on Thursday, September 28, who rank 9 in the state and have a record of 11-3.
