Dress To Impress (DTI) is a popular multiplayer fashion game on Roblox. The player is given a theme, and five minutes to put together an outfit to fit the theme, in which the other players can vote on that outfit. There is a lot of variety for clothing options, jewelry, accessories, makeup and hairstyles. The popularity of the games surrounds the creative freedom it gives the player, as well as the fun updates and code items that get released.
Multiple Events
Although the game is only a little over a year old, DTI has gotten lots of attention and praise from the gaming community, even having a collaboration with singer Charli XCX to promote her album, “Brat.” As well as the fashion aspect of the game, there are also lots of side quests and obstacle courses you can complete in the gaming lobby or on the other servers, which players are then rewarded with limited additional fashion items that can be used during the regular game.
The game has gone viral, being one of the first games on Roblox to reach 1 billion plays. Addison Enger, ‘26, decided to start a club at South Salem High School, to celebrate and connect with fellow students over the game. The club began as a way to bring together a community of all the Saxons that play DTI. The club is unique because there is a diverse blend of people, who would not have met and become friends if it was not for the club.
Club Information
The DTI club prides itself on being a very low-commitment club. It is meant as a time and place to come together, not as just a stressful thing on one’s schedule. It is meant as a “come-when-you-can” type of activity. Members are not required to stay the whole time or attend every meeting.
Club Motto
“The only thing that people have to think about is showing up and playing. No reason to fear the members; we are all here to participate in something that we all enjoy. We are all here for the same reason,” Enger said.
The Dress To Impress club meets every Friday in the calm room (170), from 3:30 to 4:00. The club motto, which was popularized on TikTok, is “In the clerb, we all fam.”
