Raising Cane’s New Location in Keizer

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, a popular chicken restaurant, is set to open a brand-new location in Keizer, Oregon. Founded by Todd Graves, Raising Cane’s officially opened their first restaurant in Louisiana on August 28, 1996. The famous restaurant was named after Graves’ dog, Raising Cane, as it often visited the construction site of the first location. 

The Keizer City Council voted on Tuesday, February 18, to authorize City Manager Adam Brown to sign a letter of intent. The letter contained an agreement with the company to purchase land on Keizer Station Boulevard for $1.9 million.

“I am very excited to bring this into daylight. We have been working on it for nearly 5 months,” Adam Brown said during the council meeting. 

The chain has continued to grow in popularity. As well as prove itself to be an exceptional fast-food restaurant for the limited items on its menu. The chain has blown up on multiple social media websites, showing off their food for all to see. 

“It is a national brand of chicken fingers. It is very popular,” Brown said.

Raising Cane’s currently has over 700 locations nationwide. Although currently only one location in Oregon. They are well-known for their chicken fingers, French fries and sauce. One of the most popular items on the menu containing these items is The Box Combo. Moreover, the popular deal also includes Texas toast, coleslaw and a 22 oz fountain drink. 

While there has been an agreement as to where the new restaurant will go. Conversely, there has not been a confirmed time of construction for when the restaurant will be built, or for when they plan to open and operate.
