Saxon's Got Talent

This morning’s assembly featured the annual South Salem High School tradition of Saxon’s Got Talent. The event gave South students the opportunity to showcase their skills to their peers. This year’s talents included singing, dancing, and magic.
The competition was hosted by Aaron Satyanaryana ‘17 and Rylie Tiffin ‘17, and judged by South High teachers Elisabeth Saxe, Sarah Griffis, Tory Carey, and William Mclean. Performers included Austin Copeland ‘17, Sandy Cedra-Lezama ‘16 and Zunyana Crier ‘17, Julia Miller ‘16, Spencer Hughes ‘18, Sean Riesterer ‘17, Solomon Baez ‘17, Isaac King ‘17, Hunter Winnen ‘16, Maddie Gertenrich ‘19 and Hannah Gertenrich ‘16, Nicole Gebauer ‘16 and Amber Enomoro ‘17, Emily Cochran ‘17, Faith Schuetz ‘17, and Julius Lang ‘16, Zari Crier ‘16, and Kevin Dong ‘16.
While the judges expressed that it was a difficult decision, the winner of  this year’s Saxon’s Got Talent competition was Lang and his backup dancers, Zari Crier and Dong. To watch the competition, go to
