The 21 seed Saxon boys put up a fight last night against the 12 seed Tigard basketball team. The Saxons were eliminated in the 54-66 defensive battle, and Tigard will progress into the second round of playoffs [the quarter-finals].
The Saxons girls square off tonight against the Tualatin Timberwolves at 7 p.m.. The Saxons are ranked second in the playoff bracket, and the Timberwolves are 31. This game could be the last game some phenomenal players make a playoff appearance in high school, such as Dani Harley ‘17 and Evina Westbrook ‘17.
