Trump Critics Targeted with Strange Packages Containing Pipe Bombs

Fourteen pipe bombs have been found, addressed to political figures and critics of Donald Trump. This has sparked a nationwide investigation, and caused the Secret Service to tighten up security.

As the investigation continues, police continue to find pipe bombs addressed to different people with ties to the Democratic party. The pipe bombs were found at addresses related to: Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, George Soros, John Brennan, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Eric Holder, Maxine Waters, Robert De Niro, Joe Biden, Cory Booker, James Clapper, and Cable News Network [CNN].

A male suspect, Cesar Sayoc Jr., has been arrested in connection with the case, in Florida. He has been charged with five federal crimes. These crimes include transportation of an explosive, illegal mailing of an explosive, threats against former presidents, and interstate transportation of an explosive.

Sayoc is a known Trump supporter. He has pro-Trump social media accounts and his van displays pro-Trump stickers. His van was found at the scene when he was taken into custody.

Sayoc became a suspect when police decided to run DNA tests on the packages containing pipe bombs. They ran tests on the stickers and envelopes. The police matched Sayoc’s DNA to the DNA found on the packages.

Although the suspect is in captivity, there is a possibility that more pipe bombs have been sent. The police urge people to keep an eye out for them and report to the police if they get strange packages that they weren’t expecting.
