Tomorrow, South Salem’s Boys Varsity Basketball team will play Oregon City at home in hopes of advancing to a 3-0 record.
The girls however, will be hard at work getting ready for their game next Friday against a tough opponent in Canby High School who is currently ranked as the 8th best 6a team by OSAA.
So far this week, both of South’s Basketball teams have won their respective games. Tuesday, the Lady Saxons took on then 2-0 Glencoe Highschool at home, while the boys traveled South to play South Eugene Highschool and later Oregon City at home Friday. Up against Glencoe, the Lady Saxons lit up the scoreboard knocking down 8 threes while dismantling the Glencoe defense to come out with a 58-30 win. The boys had an equally successful game Tuesday outscoring South Eugene by 22 points in a 74-22 win.
