On Saturday, hundreds of protestors gathered at the Justice Center in Portland for the 52nd consecutive day of Black Lives Matter protests. The evening started with a rally held by medical professionals. A group of 30 moms were also present and used themselves as a barrier. Fences had been constructed around the parks and Federal Courthouse, which protestors dismantled and used to build barricades in front of the courthouse. This prompted federal officers to come out of the building. They gave no directions to the crowd, instead immediately using flash bangs and tear gas. The rally lasted until early Sunday morning.
