This Month in Salem-Keizer: March 2022

COVID-19 Updates

On March 12, masks were made optional state-wide as a fall in cases came sooner than expected. This is the real deal: the Oregon Health Authority [and most individual school districts as they have their own say in this] made masks optional with no exceptions other than very specific examples like in healthcare settings. So far, this change has not caused any significant surge in cases, so if you do not mind slightly more risk, not wearing a mask is now a reasonable option.

That is it!

That is all for this month. Tune in at the end of April for the next entry!
