On Thursday April 27th, there will be a Poetry Slam event at the Salem Public Library. The event is for any artist who wants to share their poetry with others, or someone who has found a piece of poetry they haven’t written but want to read to others. It will be held in the Loucks Auditorium at the Salem Public Library. The event will start at 6pm, going until 8pm. Each person reading will be given three minutes to read their piece and walk-in slots will be available, however it is encouraged to sign up before coming. In order to be put into the queue, visit the library and talk to a worker at the front desk of the teen scene. The whole point of this reading is to have fun and open up, so it will be a very welcoming and nonchalant environment.
