The South Salem Saxons took their fifth consecutive win against the West Salem Titans last Friday night at the Guido, the home stadium of the Saxons.
In the first half, the Saxons were down 14-21 Titans lead. The Titan’s defense kept the Saxon gain short.
As for the second half, the Saxon offense gained momentum after a pick-six from senior Jacob Nemeck. The Titan offense struggled to gain their traction, while the Saxons quickly found their groove and scored five times in the second half. Bringing the score to a 48-21 Saxon’s win.
The South Salem record now is 5-0 and they are ranked third in OSAA. The Saxons take on the Celtics this Friday at Mcnary High School.
