University of Oregon Hires Willie Taggart as New Football Head Coach

The University of Oregon has hired Willie Taggart for the head coaching position for their  football team after leading his former team, The University of South Florida, to a 10-2 record this season. This was the best record in school history. The University of South Florida will play in the Birmingham Bowl.
Oregon finished this season with a record of 4-8 under coach Mark Helfrich, he was shortly fired from the position.The school announced the head coaching job was filled early Wednesday morning and will have a press conference on Thursday welcoming the new coach.
