College Football Rankings Updated

In the latest college football rankings, Alabama is still ranked number one with a perfect season [12 wins and 0 losses]. With the bowl season coming ever so closely, the NCAA’s first focus is on each conference championship game. A 13-member selection committee decides who will be in the top 4 by how the teams perform in their most recent games. This decision will not only provide the final Top 25 rankings, but will determine which teams go the New Year’s six bowl games.
This year the Chick-Fil-A bowl and the Playstation Fiesta bowl are part of the playoff semifinal games, meaning they are the games before the National Championship. The one team that surprised everyone in the rankings are the Washington Huskies in the #4 spot. The Huskies are 11-1 and  will be facing #8 Colorado in the Pac-12 championship game this Friday. According to CBS’ Ben Kercheval, Washington is predicted to beat Colorado by 7.5 points [a touchdown or two].
