On Friday the South Salem Saxons lost to the Sunset Apollos 30-7 at Bennett Field, South’s only score came on a Griffin Gardner 37-yard pass to Gabe Johnson.
South falls to 0-2 on the season and the Apollos raise their record to 1-2.
The Saxons look to get on track this Friday as they travel to McMinnville to take on the Grizzlies at 7pm.
