Something in the Water! Saxons Versus Titans at Kroc Center (Photos)

Photos taken by Connor Stewart

Salem, Oregon’s Kroc Center, known for its abundant amenities and events, is a primary spot for local swimming competitions. Located in Northeast Salem, the Kroc Center opened its doors on Thursday, January 11, 2024 to host both South Salem High School and West Salem High School for a dual swim meet. While the Saxons and the Titans kept the meet close, it was ultimately the Titans of West Salem who walked away with the four-point win.

Filled with bright fluorescent lights and loud chants, the Kroc Center expects to see both teams once again. Only this time, the Saxons will swim with North Salem High School and the Titans will take on McNary High School. All OSAA 6A swimming team schedules are available at https://www.osaa.org/activities/bsw/teams-leagues.

Additionally, the Kroc Center does not require an admissions fee for spectators, regardless if they are a student or not.
